INTRO

HYPR Hawaii’s tireless R & D department is proud to unleash the 11-6 Grand Touring, a high performance touring board. HYPR's patented, ultra-fast, double concave hull has now been weaponized into the Acrylonitrile-Butadiene-Styrene (ABS) Dragon Skin boards. With its sloping chines, the board stands at 32” wide, but with a bit of power paddling she slices through the water like 27”, which translates to amazing tracking and speed. The innovative double tail fin assembly is the perfect compliment as the channelled water flows through the double concaves and keeps the GT stable and locked on track. This is the board you want when the weather gets gnarly. Its low centre of gravity is no accident; it offers exceptional stability in side chop and rough conditions. Faux carbon finish on all sides gives off a bad ass vibe. Load up the gear for a long tour and your 11-6 GT will mow down the miles. Bring on the storm!

CONSTRUCTION

Bomb-proof Dragon Skin construction features core construction of EPS foam sandwiched between multiple layers of military grade S-Glass soaked in epoxy resin. It‘s then wrapped with an impact resistant, molded ABS thermoplastic shell. A secondary layer strip of shell is applied all around the rails, nose, and tail of these boards because that’s where dents and dings normally happen. Additional features: double layer deck pad, 2 large cargo nets, GoPro and camera mounts, and Gore-tex ventilation valve.
